Now travel restrictions have eased in the UK, it’s the perfect time for a short break to Europe, and with Easter coming up, what better place to visit than the home of chocolates – Belgium! With a choice of great cities to visit across the country, you’ll not be short of things to do and see.

On Easter Monday the small Belgian town of Herve, fills with spectators to see one of the most colourful and spectacular processions in Belgium. Since 1876, each Easter Monday, dozens of colourful floats are pulled along the streets by local horses. Known as the Calvacade of Herve, this spectacle also has fireworks, live music, dancing and even paper mache Easter eggs worn as hats by the local children! An event not to be missed!
