After check in and boarding, you are free to explore your new home for the next few days! Head out on deck and embrace the gorgeous sunset as we set sail, or visit the bar and start your holiday with a fabulous cocktail.

Enjoy a delicious buffet, with international cuisine, fresh salads and scrumptious desserts. We also have tasty vegan & vegetarian options on offer.

Spend the rest of your evening how you choose. Whether that be watching the latest blockbuster in our cinema, partying on the dance floor or doing some Duty Free shopping – there is something for everyone!

After waking up feeling relaxed and refreshed, head over to Explorer’s Kitchen and fill up on our complimentary breakfast buffet. Choose from around 40 dishes including bacon, sausage, eggs and more, plus lighter options like cereal, toast, fruit or freshly baked bread.

You will arrive in Ijmuiden at 09:45 CET, where a transfer bus will take you directly to the city centre. Spend the day exploring Amsterdam and soaking up the festive atmosphere. Wander the cobbled streets, take a tour along the canals, or treat yourself to some local dishes. There’s nothing like a warm stroopwafel to celebrate the end of the year!

After a day of exploring, our bus transfer will pick you up at 15:30 CET and take you back to the port. The ship will set sail again at approximately 19:00 CET for Amsterdam’s canal where you can once again admire the beauty of the city.

There will be a lavish New Year’s Eve gala buffet waiting for you to enjoy after a day of exploring. Once you’re feeling refuelled, head over to the Columbus bar and start your New Year’s Eve party! With live entertainment, you can dance your way into New Year, and celebrate the turn of the clock with a complimentary glass of fizz.

When you’re ready to retire, head down to your en suite cabin, and treat yourself to a few hours of sleep!

The ship sets sail back to Newcastle at midnight. This gives you plenty of time to tuck into your breakfast buffet and continue enjoying our onboard entertainment! Try and beat the high scores in the games room or pick up your luxuries for less in our Duty Free shop.

Before you reach the end of your mini cruise, treat yourself to a ‘curry and classic’ buffet dinner and arrive in Newcastle at 19:00 GMT.
