Dine In Style With DFDS

November 20, 2019

When heading on holiday part of the enjoyment is the food you try. Enjoying a leisurely drink at a laid-back bar, sampling some authentic cuisine in a local restaurant or enjoying a coffee and cake in a street-side café. With DFDS you can do all of that before you’ve even arrived at your destination.

On our ships we have a range of dining options, from light bites to à la carte meals. Read on to find out more. Your mouths will be watering as soon as you step onboard.

Dover to France

On our short crossings from Dover to France we have The Lighthouse Café, which offers colourful cakes, bean to cup coffee and healthy snacks to keep you going on the 90 minute or 2 hour journey to France. If you’d prefer a sit-down meal, the 7 Seas Restaurant is a self-service eatery with a selection of hot and cold meals to suit all tastes. What’s more, you can enjoy your meal with stunning sea views. For those of you travelling on our Dover to Calais ships, the Horizon restaurant has a mouth-watering range of pizzas, pastas and salads – some are even adorned with edible flowers, making the dishes a perfect Instagram shot. Our Field to Ferry concept celebrates the fresh, seasonal produce we use onboard, provided by our carefully selected suppliers. The quality ingredients used provide you with outstanding food with traceability and provenance at its heart.
