Luxury Break to Amsterdam

November 2, 2016

Holland’s amazing capital is one which blends the classic and the modern seamlessly, conserving the wonderful outward aesthetics of its beautiful baroque architecture, but with a rebel heart which has made it one of the most progressive and modern capital cities in the whole of Europe, if not the world.

This makes Amsterdam an amazing place to really treat yourself when on holiday, with a range of high-end restaurants, hotels, bars and more. Amsterdam is also world-famous for the production and sale of diamond jewellery.

We’ve compiled a list of some of the most luxurious and extravagant things you can do in Amsterdam, so if you’re looking for an extravagant break this year then look no further!

Getting there in style

Rumour has it that the word “posh” comes from ferry travel, where the richest customers would travel “Port Out, Starboard Home”. Whether this is true or not, it shows that ferry travel has been associated with luxury for generations now, and it’s no different now.

Our premium Commodore and Commodore De Luxe cabins are the perfect way to travel in style, with large spacious cabins including a TV, radio, a free mini bar, a large en suite bathroom and plenty more. You’re sure to enjoy a luxurious crossing, no matter what time of year you’re setting sail. You’ll also get access to the Commodore Lounge, where you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, complimentary food and drink and stunning sea views.

Why not get your journey off to the best possible start by having champagne, beer, wine or snacks waiting for you in your cabin as soon as you board? You’ll also be able to treat yourself to a wonderful meal at our Explorers Steakhouse or Blue Riband à la carte restaurant.
