Disneyland at Christmas

December 24, 2014

If, like me, you’re a sucker for Christmas and just wish it could go on for longer then spending part of the festive period in Disneyland Paris is ideal for you. Not only is Disneyland Paris the most magical place in Europe, but you can experience Christmas there as early as November and as late as January – perfect if you want an unforgettable festive holiday without the bustling Christmas crowds.

Over the 2-month festive period, the whole park is decorated and coated in sparkling, shimmering glory to become the Winter Wonderland you’d expect from Disney. Book a special, Christmas-themed room at the New York or Disneyland Hotel and you’ll also receive a free Christmas gift. The room also includes a Christmas tree, festive decorations and more.

Visit Belle’s Christmas village and you’ll be transported to her idyllic hometown in its picture-perfect Christmas splendour, with a flurry of memorable festive moments. Children will love their meet and greets with all of their favourite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse at Mickey’s Winter Wonderland, Goofy Santa Claus in his sleigh, and will love welcoming new characters like Duffy, Mickey’s new teddy bear, to the park.

Send a letter to St Nick at the post office of Santa Claus Village, whether you’ve been naughty or nice, and you can even see the man himself as he takes a break from his busy Christmas schedule to join in with Disney’s Once Upon a Dream parade.

If you’re interested in seeing the end-of-year traditions from all over the world, then hop on the It’s a Small World ride and you’ll get to see celebrations from all over the globe up close, a whistle-stop tour for you and your family, all without leaving the park!

There are also a range of special Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners available with Disney characters, complete with special lights and decorations to ensure that your family have a Christmas to remember.

Disneyland Paris is the most magical place in Europe, and what better place to spend Christmas with your family or a loved one? With a festive trip to the park, it’s simply impossible to avoid the spirit of the season.
